Upper West Fork Park
This is a great community park. It has a paved, flat walking path of about 1/4 mile in length. It has a community center where they host, among other things, music and dancing. It has a ball field and playground as well and an outdoor covered stage and seating area. It also has an exercise facility at the park as well.

Valley Falls State Park
Valley Falls State Park is enhanced by the spectacular series of foaming falls which were created by the dark, rushing waters of the Tygart Valley River and provides a boundary between Marion and Taylor counties. The prevalent rock formation known as Connoquenessing Sandstone, forms the cap of the falls over which the river plunges and swirls and appears both as ledges and huge room size boulders for over a mile down the narrow canyon floor.

Veterans Memorial Park
Small lovely park by the MOV Airport with a loop gravel path, approximately 1/2 mile long. There are picnic shelters, a playground, a small basketball court, a pond and plenty of open space to play.

Wallback Wildlife Management Area
Wallback WMA consists of 4 distinct parcels of property in southern Roane, western Clay, and northern Kanawha counties. The lake is north of exit 34 on I-79 and has road access with trail around its eastern shore leading to a firing range. Rough roads traverse the WMA parcel south of Amma.

Wamsley Cycles
The selection of bicycles is amazing, with everything from children's bikes priced at a little over $100 to mountain bikes for recreation at $250 to state-of-the-art full-suspension ATBs costing $1000 and up. These bicycles come in different frame sizes and are fitted to the customer to achieve optimal comfort and performance. Special needs bikes and trikes are also available to help people with some physical limitations enjoy the sport.

Watters Smith Memorial State Park
The heritage of early West Virginia is preserved in the pioneer homestead restoration at this park. Through the wisdom of a descendent, the late 1700s farm of Watters Smith was bequeathed to the state park system to be preserved for posterity.

Being the only national forest in Ohio, Wayne contains great trails for hiking and mountain biking. Its historical landscapes and structures - such as the covered bridges - make it a must-see for enthusiasts of historical Ohio and Americana.

Wayne Underwood Field
This public space has a field for sports events, social events, walking track, picnic shelter, playground and softball diamond. It is owned by the Calhoun County Commission. The walking track is paved and level and approximately 1/4 mile long.

Wells Lock Park
Historic navigational lock and dam, fishing, public stream canoe and kayak access, picnic shelter, primitive camping and a great swimming hole.
