The studio is located in downtown Parkersburg, just blocks from the Parkersburg Art Center, The Actor's Guild of Parkersburg, and the Historic Smoot Theatre.
The School of the Schrader Youth Ballet is owned and operated by Velma Schrader, who has been teaching dance in the Mid-Ohio Valley for 45 years. Mrs. Schrader is also the founder and artistic director of the SYBC.
SYBC is supported by ticket sales, donations, fundraisers, grants, and tuition.
