Community recreation space. This is a very nice park! There is a paved walking trail that makes a figure 8 through the area and then extends to join the Pleasants County Middle School walking trail. This a recently improved, smooth walking surface with a flat grade. The figure 8 is approx. 1/8th of a mile.

This is a lovely, diverse park that adjoins the middle school's recreation space.
There is a new playground, a shaded walking trail with benches, a batting cage and ballfield, a drinking fountain and a picnic shelter. There is an empty field behind the playground with future plans to build another batting cage, restrooms, a picnic shelter, lighting around the track and an additional "pig-leg" paved path to connect to the Care Haven rest home so wheelchairs and the elderly can use the walking trail. What a great idea! Good job Pleasants County Parks and Recreation!
