WVMBA's VP to speak at "Healthy Counties" conference.
WVMBA made a commitment to get more youth on bikes and on the trails. The goal is to bring the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) into WV. NICA governs high school mountain bike racing. I went to California and attended a NICA race and was blown away and became even more committed to bring that scene to WV. Progress has been overwhelming and the word of our goal is spreading and folks are lining up to help. I was invited to speak at a conference for WV's county commissioners about the project and the economic value of trails to WV and accepted immediately.

A movement to get WV Students on bikes! We are starting at Parkersburg High School by working with physical education teachers who have included bicycling into their classes.
