Tour de Donut in Arcanum, OH
This is an annual 33 mile race that has 2 stops where the object is to eat donuts. They were huge! For every donut eaten 5 minutes is taken off your time. I can't believe I am bragging about this, but Barbie and I ate 5 and the guys were only able to manage 4. They were such wimps! However, we were no match for the champ who ate 25+ and even brought his own pale to fill with water and dip his donuts. We heard he was also the Illinois champion. It was a fun event and we all enjoyed the beautiful day and lovely ride through country roads. There were 278 riders in participating in this the second Tour de Donut, quite an increase from the 107 riders last year. For a fun time keep this event in mind for next year.
