Meeting with MOVRC
A meeting was held at the MOVRC on November 23, 2010 to discuss the county trail inventory project.
Present: Kim Coram - county trail coordinator Carrie Brainard - MOV Health Department Toni Carrier - WVU Intern Jennifer Deem - MOV Health Department Tracey Higgins - MOVRC Fred Rader - MOVRC Vince Post - MOVRC
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the creation of a master map of the counties trails. Kim briefed on her discussions with Bill Robinson and Theresa Litteral of the Rahall Transportation Institute.
It was agreed that Kim would forward to Vince all the current maps that exist for trails in the county. Vince would use the maps to create a master map. In the event a map does not exist, Kim will work with MOVRC to GPS the trail and provide the information to Vince for inclusion in the master.
Kim showed the group theopam.com, where the trail inventory will be maintained for public use.
