o!Pam has been a victim of its own success in the last few months. The usage of the site has steadily increased and eventually began to push the limits of the hardware on which o!Pam was hosted. You may have noticed this in the form of slow page loading and odd 'Application Error' messages that have become more common in the past few months.

We have done a lot of work over the last few weeks to tune o!Pam for better performance, and we were able to reduce page load times considerably; however, from time to time the system was still 'running to hot' for the hardware, which resulted in application errors. We had to do something about that because application errors just aren't cool.

So we did. We are proud to announce that o!Pam has successfully been moved to new, bigger, and better hardware. We will now be able to easily scale to support the increasing usage, and you can kiss those application errors goodbye. Now that the performance issues have been taken care of, we can return our focus back to building new features and enhancing existing features.
