Great time at the Woods Fest

BMX bicycle enthusiast from around the tri-state area braved the cold weather this past weekend to come to the 3rd annual Woods Fest presented by 304films.com, poorfarmbmx.com and 540photo.com.

The Woods Fest was designed to bring BMX riders from the tri-state area together to share their love for bicycle riding. The event had a bit of a dreary shadow casted over it with the cold rainy weather but Mother Nature granted the BMX crew with a dry enough day to salvage the event.

Colin Dierman of Wamsley Cycles located in Morgantown said “The Woods Fest was not as large as we all anticipated but the people that did attend all had a great time.”

The 2009 Woods Fest marked the start of the filming process for “Ride West Virginia”. The film is produced by Luke Nesler of 304films.com and Don DeQuasie of 540photo.com. “Ride West Virginia” is designed to showcase the bicycling scene in West Virginia. The film is set to be released in November of 2010. All of the riders say that they cannot wait until the next Woods Fest in 2010. The next event is already in the works.
