WV Receives Another IMBA Epic listing
17 riders enjoyed an awesome Saturday ride last month off Spruce Knob (See Davis Dash) which has now received classification as an International Mountain Bike Association Epic Ride. Just received my issue of IMBA Trail News magazine and noticed the title 5 new Epic Rides. As I turned to the pages describing them I notice the first one on the list was Spruce Knob - Seneca, West Virginia. As I began reading the article I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was the same loop we recently rode and that I have enjoyed anually for several years now. A quote from the first paragraph " the Spruce Knob loop offers a challenging ride that combines the Huckleberry, Judy Springs and Seneca Creek Trails." This listing is the 2nd IMBA Epic Ride listed in West Virginia, the other being the Gauley Headwaters around Slatyfork, WV area.

If you would like further information, map, description, etc. on the Spruce Knob loop go to the trails section of Singletracks.com and start making your plans to ride it. It is presently listed there as Huckleberry Trail however I have already requested it be changed to Spruce Knob Loop. That may take a little while. This time of year is the best with all the brilliant colors on the mountains.
