The Davis Dash Mountain Bike Adventure

I have found it nearly impossible to describe this past weekends outing at Davis, WV where several members of the River Valley Mountain Bike Association and friends joined in Davis, WV for some camping and mountain biking.

First day 10 of us rode right from camp and enjoyed the CVI Trails and included the Moonrocks / Hoo Doo Rocks loop. That wasn't enough so we added a few more miles checking out a small portion of the Revenge of the Rattlesnake course for this year.

Day two, Saturday, put 17 riders on the highest point in the State. Spruce Knob, where we rode the Huckleberry / Judy Springs / Seneca Creek Loop. Huckleberry trail is one of the rockiest, rootiest trails I've ridden and will challenge you over and over not to mention Judy Springs Trail which traverses down the side of a mountain meadow with spectacular views and dangerous rocks.

Day three, Sunday, we were back to 12 riders and we enjoyed the day right from Davis up on Canaan Mountain. Yellow Birch, Davis/Allegheny, Plantation, Fire Lane, Forbidden Forest and Son of Plantation. An awesome ride to end the three day outing.

What an awesome adventure this was. If you missed it I only hope each of these pictures will inspire you to join us next time. Enjoy, as we did.
