Mountain Bike usage impressive at Mountwood

A few members of RVMBA met on the trails at Mountwood this past Sunday,
enjoying the trails while the group expanded. The trails were in great
shape after a light shower on Friday night. Here Kim enjoys the new
section of Tecumseh Trail and a log over on Caretaker Trail. |

As our group grew to five we met several other riders from out of the
area who were enjoying the trails as well. We talked with them before
continuing our ride. Here Pat, John and Dave pause before climbing

What impressed us most was the number of vehicles in the parking lot
when we returned to our vehicles for the day. Nearly every vehicle in
the Marina Parking Lot had either bikes or bike racks on them. Check

It is great to see so many mountain bikers out enjoying
the trails we are so proud of. Mountwood is known for having some of
the best singletrack trails in the state. Check them out for yourself. |
