Pre-Festival Community Activities
Poster Art Contest: All of the Wood County middle school students were invited to participate in a poster art contest. Thank you United Construction for sponsoring this event. The winning poster will be used for all of the marketing materials produced for the event. Congratulations to Alexa from Edison Middle School.
Free Fishing License Scholarship: On June 12 Young adults between the ages of 15 and 18 years old who are West Virginia residents are eligible to apply for a fishing scholarship that will provide them with a fishing license for the year. Recipients must attend the event on June 12. Please contact that park for more information about the fishing scholarship program.
