Little Kanawha Resource Conservation and Development Council
The Little Kanawha RC&D writes grants for trails and builds trails in a nine county area. We have a professional trail building crew we use to construct trails and help design and lay them out.

Mountwood Bird Club
Devoted exclusively to birding about 40 times a year with local and overnight trips. Meetings are held on Thursday mornings at about 8 am at different locations as indicated on the annual schedule. Weekly email announcements to remind people of locations and special requirements.

River City Runners (RCR) is a non-profit Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) proud affiliate. River Valley Mountain Bike Association (RVMBA)
This organization is formed to provide education about environmentally and socially responsible mountain biking, promote responsible mountain biking throughout West Virginia and Ohio, and work for increased environmental protection of the area's trails. RVMBA builds and maintains trails in the Cities of Marietta and Parkersburg, Mountwood Park, Marietta Unit of the Wayne National Forest and North Bend State Park.
