Arnoldsburg Community Park
Otherwise known as West Fork Community Park. This lovely park has a one-story community park building with park facilities such as ball fields and an area for making molasses. There is a paved, level walking path of about 1/4 mile in length as well.

Calhoun County Committee on Aging Exercise Facility - Grantsville
Complete with 8 treadmills, Wii station with 54-inch screen, weight training equipment, 2 BOWFLEX machines, aerobics/yoga/Zumba areas, 3 stair climber machines, 4 stationary bikes, 2 orbital machines, 2 arm and pedal resistance bikes, 2 rowing machines, ab trainers, multimedia audio-visual players and screens, ankle weights, exercise balls, yoga floor mats, and more.

Calhoun County Committee on Aging Exercise Facility - Minnora
This fitness room has two Pro Form Cross Trainer exercise bikes and two Nordic Track tread mills for public use. Strengthening classes are also offered.

Calhoun County Park
Mountain bike and hiking trails, historic village, picnic shelters and sites, meeting center, playground, ball fields, game courts, two ponds and camp sites. There are approximately 7 miles of hike/bike trails in the park of a variety of difficulty.

Riverside park with basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, playground and picnic shelters.

Heartwood in the Hills
Heartwood is above all a school of the arts. We are situated in such a pristine rural setting that we are able to incorporate nature into our overall curriculum. The regular class program consists of two twelve-week sessions, in the spring and the fall. Classes are offered each session, in dance, movement for health, exercise for seniors, anatomy study, theatre, music, conservation education, and the visual arts. Typically 40 students enroll in about 80 class slots each program.

A trail that connects Grantsville to the hospital. It is approximately 100 yards long.

Mt. Zion Community Park
This is a nice community greenspace that has a playground, basketball court, horseshoes, ox roast pit, softball field and a large picnic shelter with a small community building that has a kitchen and restrooms.

Pleasant Hill Elementary
The school has a paved walking path approximately 1/4 mile in length that loops around the playground behind the school. There is a single moderate elevation to get your heart rate up!

River Street Trail
A walking trail along River Street, Grantsville.

Stumptown Wildlife Management Area
A small section of the Stumptown WMA is in Calhoun County. The only trail located in the county, on DNR's map is a gravel road. The WMA is large and expands significantly into Gilmer County.

Upper West Fork Park
This is a great community park. It has a paved, flat walking path of about 1/4 mile in length. It has a community center where they host, among other things, music and dancing. It has a ball field and playground as well and an outdoor covered stage and seating area. It also has an exercise facility at the park as well.

Wayne Underwood Field
This public space has a field for sports events, social events, walking track, picnic shelter, playground and softball diamond. It is owned by the Calhoun County Commission. The walking track is paved and level and approximately 1/4 mile long.
