Organized to facilitate coordination needed to make biking easier and safer in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Open to all interested in promoting bicycling. Formed in June 2008. This group is now part of the City of Parkersburg and is now know as the Parkersburg Bicycle Advisory Board.

The Bike Council is comprised of citizens and representatives from local governments to include Parkersburg's Development Director, Captain Keith of the Parkersburg Police, Fred Radar, the Community Development Director for the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Council, Tracy Higgins, a Transportation Specialist for the Wood-Washington-Wirt Interstate Planning Commission, Kim Coarm (coordinator), Greg Garrett of the Blennerhassett bicycle club, representatives from local bike clubs, bike shops and anyone interested in showing up at a meeting.
